This is an A5 lino print of a female cardinal bird perched on a rotting piece of wood. I have a deep love of birds and really enjoy capturing them with my artwork, whether that's in a watercolour or a lino print. Every day from my studio window I enjoy watching the birds. We don't get cardinals where I live, mostly house sparrows, but I adore these none the less.
This print is unusually positioned in the bottom corner of the paper, making it more striking.
