This lino cut print is based on a woodland animals digital illustration I created about a year ago. I went on to use that as the base for the woodland creatures washi tape I designed too.
It was always my intention to make a lino cut from it, but at the time when I originally designed this my linocut skills weren't honed enough, but now they are :)
This is printed using Cranfield ink - mixing phthalo green with some phthalo blue and some opaque white to create a green teal. It's printed onto handmade paper, with a choice of lokta paper or natural mulberry paper.
The sizes (24.5cm x 24.5cm) are approximate, some are slightly bigger and some slightly smaller, as they're all hand torn by eye.
Due to the nature of lino printing, each print is slightly different, making each one truly unique.
