This is a watercolour painting of a nuthatch, he's painted in an expressive way and is a portrait. He was walking down the tree head-first right in front of me when I took the photo, looking almost straight at me. This is painted onto 12 x 9 arches cold pressed watercolour paper, using professional quality watercolours by Schmincke, Daniel Smith and Michael Harding.
