This gorgeous art print is of a beautiful Wren, one of Britian’s chirpiest birds. The original painting was created using professional watercolours by Schmincke, specifically their Horadam range.
I absolutely adore birds and if you look through my shop you’ll see a lot of them! I’ve only spotted a Wren in my garden once and was immediately inspired to paint one. I just love their little pokey up tail and roundness.
The paper this is printed on is exquisite. It’s archival paper by Hahnemühle, textured and thick, much like the watercolour paper used to create the originals on, but in my opinion even more beautiful.
